Dear Dhamma Friends,
I am ever so grateful to all those who have contributed towards the building of Aloko Buddhist Center.
As you all know, our Buddhist Center is now liveable and operational (complete with a room, kitchen, and dana hall with a small shrine). Therefore, I decided to observe this year’s Rainy Retreat here in Aloko Buddhist Center. After receiving the invitation from Mr. Ashoka Nirmal and his family, I have completed the three months long retreat unbroken.
I am happy to announce that the time has come to do the Kathina ceremony. This first Kathina will be a historical event for ABC.
On 18th November 2020, we will be having a small gathering to conduct the Kathina ceremony while following the Health Department’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for COVID 19.
I look forward to your support and contribution to make this auspicious and meritorious occasion a success.
